How do I set-up E-mail Accounts in Outlook
Express?
Before attempting to set-up your
email boxes in Outlook Express, please make sure that you have e-mail
account created.
To begin setting up your email boxes, make sure you are connected to the
Internet, and then launch Outlook Express.
On
the top menu in Outlook Express click Tools to drop down the Tools menu
shown below.
On
the Tools menu Click on Accounts to open the Internet
Accounts window shown below.
On
the Internet Accounts window, click Add to pop out
the side Menu and then select Mail to begin the Mail Wizard shown
below.
Enter
your Display Name. Enter it how your want your name to appear on
e-mails. After typing your name, click Next.
On the
e-mail address line type your address. Ex. billy@mydomain.com
When finished, click Next.
Our
mail servers are POP3 servers. This is generally the default, however if
something else appears click the down arrow and select POP3 from the
list. Your Incoming and Outgoing Mail servers are
yourdomain.com. When finished, click Next.
On the
Account Name line enter the account name. Ex.
info@mydomain.com is e-mail address
your account name would be info. On the
Password line enter the password you set up. Put a check mark
in remember password When finished, click Next.
Click
Finish and your email account will be created in Outlook Express.
